Marching youth bands are an integral part of our cultural heritage. Bands selection in style between traditional parade units, to interpretative bands that integrate manoeuvre and costumed dance into their arena shows. For most of the 30, 000 young people involved our community arts activity is their only opportunity to experience performing live instrumental music. Located in local communities, marching bands involve and represent their local areas, supporting social cohesion and strengthening community identity. And, the finest part is that it's fun!
