Backline was founded over fifteen years ago. Passionately created by members of 80's ska band Bad Manners. Backline speedily stamped itself into the scene as a popular facility in which to rehearse, record, and even perform to crowds. Its 'Easy Going' feel attracting bands from all over the region. We currently have a vision at Backline, A vision that is soon to be fulfilled by a 300 capacity, 2 floor live music venue in the middle of Guildford's ever growing music scene. We see Backline as the driving force behind the greatest bands and DJs on offer.
