Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese energy system of bodywork uitilising finger pressure. This gently adjusts the body's structure by unblocking the meridians or energy pathways and promotes the harmony essential to nice health. It springs from the same oriental principles as acupuncture. In Japanes Shiatsu literally means finger pressure. A treatment lasts about an hour and is carried out fully clothed on a futon. Please wear loose fitting clothing - jogging bottoms are perfect - and do not eat a huge meal beforehand!
