We had a power shower & the electronics blew out and also the water tank was small and over 60 years old. The Ideal boiler(10yrs) was ok but we decided that we wanted to change. So Jon Howden from Yorkshire Heating & Renewables (Done great work at our old house)came and went into great detail about the various things we could do. We decided on a new combi-boiler system but due to a holiday break it took a bit longer to organise. However once Jon had everything in place the actual work only took 2 days, this included a boiler change, new piping, all the electrical work and removal of the old boiler and water tank. Once installed, Jon did a through check of the system to make sure everything was ok. Jon kept us informed of every part of the work and was able to answer all our questions. Jon and his team did a reasonable job of tidying up once it was all done. Jon endeavoured to keep his price down and we certainly feel we got value for money. We have no qualms about recommending Yorkshire Heating & Renewables Ltd.

Very professional company and experts in their field. All throughout the process they were very respectful of our property. The quality of their work is exceptional, all pipe runs neat and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely recommend them without hesitation.

Jon was replacing a radiator, fixing a small leak and servicing our boiler and then serviced my mums boiler immediately afterwards. He provided an excellent and efficient service. He was clean and tidy, not leaving any mess behind. He is very knowledgeable and is happy to share his expertise and would be happy to recommend him if you are looking for a plumber/ heating engineer.

Jonny came to do a little urgent job for us, after getting in touch Thursday night he was here when he said he would be Friday morning. Jonny has completed a number of jobs for us including replacing our whole heating system, installing a cloakroom sink and replacing our kitchen sink. He turns up when he says he will and his work is exemplary, always clearing up after every job. He goes above and beyond and clearly cares about you as a customer. I can 100% highly recommend him.

I keep using Johnny because he's reliable and trustworthy, and sticks to his appointment commitments. Both Johnny and Gaz are friendly and courteous, which is particularly good when I get them to do work for my mother as she feels happy to have them around. Jon Howden is a first class tradesman. He first did some work on our house extension. He fitted new a new boiler, under floor heating and new radiators.
Hes also fitted two new bathrooms

I have know Jon for about 8 years now, during which time he has done everything from replace my entire central heating system to make a mercy mission emergency visit on Christmas Eve. During that time his product knowledge, technical advice and workmanship have been exceptional - I would (and have) thoroughly recommend his work to anyone. This guy is a keeper!

We have been using J Howden Plumbing for over 20 years and during that time we have had new bathroom fitted, regular gas boiler serving and fixing of leaks or advice regarding any of the above. Jon has alway responded to our calls very quickly, including one time when our insurance plumber did not identify a problem from a bathroom leak causing serious damage to the kitchen area - Jon was there to help and sort out even on a Sunday morning.
