Wutan - The Home Of Martial Arts
Martial Arts Club in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
In 1966, when Grand Master Liu retired from his post as Chairman of the Civil Defence Force in The Republic of China, he accepted twelve disciples to pass down his skills. He named his school Wutan. Most of these disciples, including my own Master, were already highly-skilled martial artists before commencing their studies with him. Some had been teaching in their own right for a long time and consequently brought all their students with them to WUTAN.

Our tuition fee has stayed almost unchanged for over 26 years when a portion of fish and chips was only 65p. Advertising and hall rents have increased at least 8 times. For these reasons many of our instructor can only make a very basic living from their long hours teaching, some even have to get money in some other way to subsidise their teaching. In order to help our instructors keep their classes alive without having to increase our tuition fees, and providing the HQ with a much-needed source of revenue.
