Wireless Fibre Systems

Providing reliable, through-water & through-ground wireless communications is a main challenge. Acoustic modems and floating repeater buoys are deployed widely for through-water communications, but they have drawbacks in certain operational scenarios. Floating buoys are not discreet and acoustic modems do not work well in shallow, turbid or noisy waters. The top edge technology developed by WFS will enable unobtrusive high data-rate transmission through water and through ground, removing the need for a cable or repeater buoy altogether.
