We arrived in quito 25 hours after we left college rather tired but miraculously with all of our bags! We got picked up and taken to the hostel which is brilliant and clean. So sleepy we immediatly dropped! Next day we did so much organising it was unreal and we realised Ian was worth his weight in gold as a fluent spanish speaker! Today was the 1st challenging day of trecking, we went to illaolo and managed to get to 3000 feet with Caitlin as a wondeful and motivating leader : We had our 1st experiance of catching the local buses which was an exciting one to say the least.
