After a decade of collaboration with Woodland Heritage in delivering their 'Woodland to Workshop' courses, Whitney Sawmills was acquired by the Charity in 2016.

read moreWhitney Sawmills specialises in Green Oak beams, cut to size in lengths up to 40 foot (12m). We have decades of experience of working with timber framers, builders and architects. All our fresh sawn Green Oak is sawn on site allowing a rapid response to orders for structural timber and personal attention to details. Plus we keep a large stock of UK and European-grown logs for this purpose. As we mill all orders on site, we are able to select logs for cutting jowl posts, cruck blades and other individual requirements, or produce beams of any cross section.

Unlike other floor finishes a hardwood floor can be refinished many times in its lifetime making it very cost effective over the long term. All our flooring is available in 5 widths, 100mm, 120mm, 150mm, 175mm and 200mm and is tongue and grooved on the 2 long edges.

read moreFrom time-to-time we have off-cuts for firewood, rustic oak that is ideal for mantel pieces and much more available. Slab-wood offcuts, packed into approximately 1.5 - 2 ton bundles for collection only on a flat bed or trailer. These are ideal cheap firewood for the home wood burning user or log burning boiler, and can be stacked or left in the bundle to further dry and await cross cutting at your convenience. We are now also registered on the RHI Biomass Suppliers list, allowing customers to claim for fuel used in their approved appliances.

read moreWhitney Sawmills offer a national delivery service including Hereford, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Gloucester, West Midlands, Telford, Newport, Swansea, mid Wales, South Wales, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Wiltshire. Is there a safe and legal space to park a large vehicle whilst unloading or do you require parking permits? Please be aware that delivery costs can vary depending on the size of the load, the type of vehicle required and size of order and a crane or forklift is an additional extra.
