We at Vivere l'italiano - Living Italian - believe that learning a language is about more than just getting grammar right. Our language courses give you the chance to soak up Italy's culture by combining your language skills with other important cultural aspects such as cooking, art and cinema, literature and politics.

I had a great experience with Vivere l’italiano for the last 2 years! The course leader Stefania has been very helpful through the whole process in helping me choose the right course & booking it.
The location of the courses is great and there is always various options when you book the course - You can select the time you prefer and location.
The teachers and the structure of the courses has been amazing, giving you the opportunity to learn a lot through exercises, games and conversations :)))
My teacher was Giulia, however I had with most of the teachers courses over these 2 years. I have to say that the courses by Giulia and Laura have been the best for the time I studied and I am happy to recommend them!
And not on last place, going to this course I had a lot of fun learning and I have meet some great people!
I will miss Vivere l'italiano, you made a dream of mine come true!

While vocabulary and grammar is very important, we believe learning the language and culture should also go beyond the four walls of a classroom. Therefore, we like to take students further than the textbooks by encouraging them to participate in realistic situations, whether it is shopping for food, eating in an Italian restaurant, going to the cinema, visiting art exhibitions, or simply talking football. If you are an existing Vivere l'italiano student this is a great way to practice the Italian you have learnt with us, and if you are a new student, it's a wonderful opportunity to start learning, or to build on your existing knowledge of Italian in beautiful Italy! There are 2 hours of informal conversation with the teacher outside of the classroom periods to encourage the application of what has been learnt in the class and to promote "natural" conversation in Italian.

All our tutors are native Italian speakers and are enthusiastic about teaching their mother tongue! We are always in regular contact with our tutors starting at the inception of each course where the tutors' lesson plans are discussed and agreed upon.
