Van OD is an on demand "man with van" service that specialises in short notice local bookings. Think of us like a taxi for things. From a single box to a small house move, whatever you need a van for we're here to help. We pride ourselves on providing a professional, reliable and friendly service, and with a track record of satisfied customers and insurance for your items while in transit you're in safe hands with us. After the first hour, we charge by the half hour, so if for example you go 10 mins over, you're not paying for another full hour. For bookings within Bristol we charge from when the van arrives at your starting point to when it's unloaded at your destination, and mileage is included. If your booking involves going outside Bristol we add on travel time to and/or from central Bristol and mileage at 20p/mile.

Amazing van hire, really excellent prices
Good time keeping and always have spaces for emergency moves. I've used them for myself lots of times and my service users. Would defo recommend to others. All the team at Van OD are very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond. Professional and relatable they are far the best company I've came across. They even do moves outside of Bristol. Just all round amazing. Value for Money

Would recommend these to anyone moving, nothing seems to difficult. Moving is a stressful time but the way these guys show up and move your stuff (especially down 3 flights of stairs) was amazing. We was all moved in and unpacking within a couple hours. Value for Money

I cannot recommend Van OD enough! The email communication was great beforehand but the service on the day was exceptional.Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done easily and with a smile. They made my move simple and stress-free. Plus their prices are really reasonable and they don't try to catch you out with extra costs.

Van OD where great to work with, easy communicators and gave clear estimate after my list of kit was provided (which was actually reduced after they moved all my stuff in less time than quoted!). They put up with moving not only all my heavy boxes of books but all the fiddily bits and slightly awkwardly wrapped items too. Their customer care was particularly notable in that they tip-toed around my housemates, who where moving out simultaneously, without protest. I would obviously recomend these guys and will happily use them again in future.

Starting life like most "man with van" services, as just one person with a van, we now have a growing network of owner-drivers enabling us to offer a range of van sizes, and increasingly short notice availability to our customers. Operating this way also enables us to provide a high level of reliability, as if one driver or van is out of action for any reason, in most cases we have enough capacity to honour all our bookings.
