Built at a time when Biddenden was the middle of a rich woollen and weaving community, it is watched over by the Church of All Saints, which has its origins in the thirteenth century, the clock being added in 1878. The unique village sign shows the famous Biddenden Maids, siamese twins born around 1100 A. D. And who survived for 30 years. The Bread and Cheese charity established by them is still in existence at the present time.

We recently stayed and could not have been looked after better. The house is amazing, a real tudor cottage. The rooms are well presented and immaculately clean and the breakfast is worth the money alone. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Many thanks and best wishes for looking after us over Easter.
