I purchased one about two weeks ago for the back of my house and it is working well. I left it for 3 to 4 days to charge, and I like the flashing amber light that indicates it is charging, which started as soon as I took it out of the box and placed it outside.
It was set to program 2 using the remote, but first, I had to press the button on the front of the light to activate the remote function, and the blue light came on as instructed. The light works great, is nice and bright, so I ordered another one, which I fitted three days ago, and everything is perfect.
I moved my older, less powerful 500 lumen eco pro, which is five years old, and mounted it on top of my shed, which solved the issue. I would recommend this product, especially since it is on sale for £35.00, which is great value. In my view, it is worth considering the elite version for a few extra pounds to get the extra brightness and remote control.
The remote is very handy, especially if the light is out of reach, as it saves me from getting a ladder to make any adjustments.
