About Us
read moreThe Shoe Zoo was established in 2006 in the lovely seaside town Torquay by Peter and Claire French. The concept of the shop was born out of frustration at trying to find a good range of quality children's shoes, fitted by caring staff for their first child. Their aim was to provide their customers with a wide selection of trusted brands of children's shoes in a child friendly environment. In 2014, The Shoe Zoo outgrew its original shop and moved to brand new premises in St Marychurch, Torquay. This not only allowed for an even larger range of children's shoes to be stocked but also the space to include a dancewear department and a coffee shop.
read moreThe Shoe Zoo was first established in 2006. The dancewear section of our shop was very small at first but it became clear that there was a big demand for a more specialised dancewear department in our area. In 2014, The Shoe Zoo moved premises to a much bigger building which allowed us to expand our dancewear collection hugely and create a whole floor dedicated to dance.
