The Post Office Tavern
Bar Club in Bristol, South West England
The Post Office Tavern is an impressive single storey brickwork pub at the top of Westbury Hill. The Pub was originally a Mail coach house. There is still today an old gaol on the other side of the road where prisoners were held on their way to court, whilst the mail man & his horses had refreshment at the Inn. Post Office memorabilia adorns several of the free space & we even have an old telephone box inside the pub. Both bars are fully air conditioned, very comfortable & there is a tiny decked smoking area with heaters to the rear of the pub.
