We're a tiny private Chesterfield based studio and the only studio in Derbyshire to provide private DJ tuition. We're the only studio in the UK to provide only one-to-one tuition. All students at The DJ School are taught by experienced specialists who have had years working within the industry. Our tutors include DJ's that have worked in the UK's top bars and clubs, plus music producers that have worked with artists such as the Chemical Brothers, Nelly Furtado and many more. read moreThe DJ School can carry out any of the courses mentioned in the course section of this website in any School, College or community centre. Through working with numerous schools in the past we have had the chance to learn valuable information into how these courses should be taught and carried out. This, plus feedback from school teachers and students, has made these courses into a fun and educational experience. We recognise that in-school delivery requires a more formal approach than other environments and therefore provide specialist training for our industry professional tutors including 'Setting Appropriate Boundaries and Standards' to match the etiquette of the classroom.

They range from clubs DJ's to studio engineers that have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including the Freemasons, the Chemical Brothers and many more. They have given lessons and seminars all over the country including this years BPM Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham. We pride ourselves on our method of teaching, using individual lessons and small groups.
