Draw a birds-eye view of the Landing and hallway (as shown below). Remember to make a note of were the stairs are and which way is down with a arrow. In these examples note I have measured over the top stair. I have shown 3 different samples of the most common landings but use the same principle to any shape. This is only a guide for budgeting purposes we always recommend using our own experienced staff to measure your home.
