Sue Steer MRAC, FRICS FAAV is married with two kids and farms Deer Park Organic Farm with her husband. Her career in the profession began in 1979 when she was the 1st lady to read Rural Estate Management at The Royal Agricultural College. She has since been actively involved with the Royal Institiution of Chartered Surveyors and has held posts of local branch secretary and Chairman for the Lancashire, Cheshire and Isle of Man Branch, sat on national council and is presently the Chairman of the Countryside Policy Panel.
