Station Taxis (Sunderland) Ltd can trace its history back to 1901 when a gentleman by the name of Monkhouse Yorkie Graham started operating his horse drawn cab. Since then we've expanded to become the biggest taxi firm in the City of Sunderland with well over 150 licensed vehicles, 350 drivers and a support staff in excess of 35 people. Station Taxis have a tradition of being the 1st to introduce many innovations to the taxi trade in Sunderland. For instance, this Model T Ford was, in 1922, one of the 1st of the new motorised taxicabs in Sunderland.
