I originally became very interested in making and decorating birthday and wedding cakes as a hobby about 35 years ago and found all the different kinds of creating and designing them very rewarding and challenging. I came to realise that whatever idea or design family and friends presented me with, that it was possible to mirror in the form of a cake. It soon became clear that this was a path which I would like to follow and Speciality Cakes by Susan had begun.
