We're an evangelical Baptist Church, and believe that God's love, expressed in Jesus, is available to everyone. We're a combination of ages, races and backgrounds and all are welcome to join us. We're a member church of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. We're situated close to Southampton Uni. And are always glad to provide a home from home to students, especially those from overseas. Our activities are based around our core values.

read moreWe run as a family church linked with the Southern Counties Baptist Association (SCBA). Sunday morning services are regularly attended by around 30-40 worshipers with Creche and Sunday School prepared for children up to age 11. The vision of Swaythling Baptist Church is to be a local Christ-centred community, seeking to live together with patience, kindness, and respect; forgiving one another in love; working out our faith in service; building bridges for God's grace to all sorts of people.
