Basingstoke Silver Band is a thriving, non-competing band that goals and to promote brass band music in the local area and especially to encourage young and new players to get involved. We currently have a training band that gives kids and adults the possibility to take up a brass instrument and earn valuable knowledge and competence before hopefully graduating to the major band. It caters for those who have been playing a brass instrument and who want to improve their skills and practice playing in an ensemble.
