Shonk Studios a fully digital recording and editing studio situated in the middle of East Oxford UK. Shonk Recording Studios was set up in 1999 by John Halliday, a highly experienced session musician and for many years the Drummer with Oxford band The Candyskins. Over the past 5 years what began out as a home recording studio has become Oxfords premier recording studios for new bands many of Oxfords founded musicians. Albums and Singles recorded at Shonk Studios have been played on regional and national radio and sold around the world.

Whether it means picking up the guitar, bass, playing a bit of keys, or even putting a few ideas forward. All you need to do is ask. Jimmy's most recent clients are Richard Brabin, Self Help, Flights of Helios, Rats Eat Rats, Ephebe, Drama Kids, Crimson Tusk and Brixtons. As well as studio bookings, He's also still available for live sound, tour work and can help with PA hire.
