Our client base soon extended to include the likes of Mars Foods, Trebor Bassett, Cadbury, H J Heinz, Hazlewood Foods, Christian Salvessen, Nestle, Birds Eye Walls, McCain Foods, Kellogg & many more. Within two years the firm moved to bigger retail premises & took on extra team to deal with demand. The firm began selling other items of safety equipment such as footwear & clothing. We're always seeking to improve our products and in the late 1990's we added a fully metal impregnated earplug & cord to the selection.

read moreSafer Safety Ltd was formed in 1985 when we launched the world's first ever metal detectable earplug - "Detectaplug" - still widely used in the food industry today. We expanded rapidly during the 1990's but remained focused on unique products. Safer Safety was the first company to introduce genuine "Anti-Slip Footwear" into the UK in 1999 and working closely with the Health & Safety Executive over several decades we helped develop and establish various brands as the market evolved. In 2019 we decided to go into production of our own unique "Grip Brand" of anti-slip footwear.
