read moreSubscriptions are payable on 1st April of each year. Initially you are required to pay your subscription within seven days of your application for membership being accepted. The 'relevant' age for those under 24 years is the 1st April at the beginning of the tennis year. No entrance fee is charged. New members joining part way through a year will have their subscription proportionally reduced. Queries on subscription fees should be directed to the Club Treasurer or the Club Secretary. Policies to reduce costs do exist for 'families' or members on 'benefits'.

read morePreviously I have taken on the role of Ladies captain where I am still a member of the ladies first team and a member of the National Club league team. I now play County tennis for the Veterans teams after 25 years of Junior and Senior County Tennis. I have also represented England in the 'Four Nations' competition on several occasions. I was a 'lapsed' tennis player until my enthusiasm was rekindled by the warm welcome and the tenacious encouragement from Roundhill and its coaches. Often you will now find me on the courts at 8am on weekends getting in some well needed practise.

read moreThe Junior section at Roundhill has for a long time been one of the most important and active parts of the Club. The programme of events has been designed to provide opportunities for children of all standards to develop as players. From April to September the squad sessions are held on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. Through the winter months, the sessions are held under floodlights on Monday and also Saturday mornings. The squads usually have around 6 to 8 juniors of similar age and ability.
