read moreBy the 1960s Rewinds refocused from shipping to land-based industrial repairs, and by 1968 Wallasey works was built. Our Wallasey works now houses the largest contract balancing facility in north-west England. By 1988, Rewinds became the first engineering company of its type to achieve ISO 9002, and the following year the company started to repair servo motors within the electrical workshops. The Permanent Magnet workshop was opened in 1991 which specialised in servo motor and electronics repair.
