Recent Installation
read moreWe've said many times over that a wood burning stove doesn't need to be installed into a fireplace, it can be can be fitted almost anywhere in your home without the need for a chimney. Before we could start the job, we capped off the gas supply and removed the gas fire and marble fireplace. Then we could begin the construction of an internal false chimney breast using concrete block for the fire chamber and studwork for the breast itself. For the hearth area we used black limestone flags for a rustic but clean look.
