Rabbit Welfare Association
read moreDespite being one of the most popular pets, rabbits are amongst the most neglected, with a huge proportion living out their days confined to a hutch, alone and unable to display the behaviours they would show in the wild. We aim to improve the health and welfare of domestic rabbits through a combination of campaigning, education and the most up to date advice. If you are a rabbit owner or thinking of becoming one then there is a huge amount of information for you on these pages. Here at the RWAF we are often asked about over-the-counter (OTC) medications for rabbits with gastrointestinal disorders, such as bloating.
About Us
read moreThe RWA&F can be thought of as a 'club' for anyone interested in pet rabbits and includes a subscription to Rabbiting On, our quarterly magazine. The RWA&F is a not for profit organsiation - any surplus funds are channelled into our welfare work and administration costs are kept as low as possible. The RWF is a registered charity (#1167093) with the aim of improving the health and welfare of domestic rabbits in the UK. Both educational efforts and campaigning are channelled through the RWF. This charitable status means that donations to the fund are eligible for Gift Aid.
