In 1981 Paul Lockwood, at the age of 24 decided to begin up his own building firm, thus called PL General Building. We provide a huge array of home improvements in Bedford and surrounding areas. The company is a family owned firm, with Paul's wife Linda a partner in the firm and their son Daniel working for the firm, their daughter Amy assists out in the office with the paperwork.

We have general labourers, bricklayers, electricians (Part P registered), plasterers, carpenters and a plumber, all of whom are fully qualified in their respective fields. We carry out all different kinds of work, from extensions to conservatory bases, patios to block paved driveways, garage conversions and general maintenance on buildingproperties.
