Cosy and comfortable Scandinavian lodges and delightful self-catering cottages share these twenty-nine acres of private, natural woodland with deer, squirrels, rabbits and an range of bird and plant life. The lodges are set in a natural old English woodland on a Nidderdale hillside, between the village of Summerbridge and the wonderful National Trust area of Brimham Rocks. There are excellent views over the surrounding dales and the liberty to explore the many moorland and woodland tracks. Join the Nidderdale Way only half a mile away for both hill and valley walking.

With families living in different parts of the country it can be hard to get the right location, but as Yorkshire is near the middle of the United Kingdom, we may be ideally located for you if you are looking to catch up with friends and family who live miles apart. Due to the way our bookings system works, it is not possible to book both these lodges as a single booking online.

read moreThis quiet, private studio apartment on the ground floor of the converted farmhouse comprises of one cosy room, hallway and adjoining bathroom. There is a double bed and colour TV and the spacious bathroom with a bath and separate shower. South facing, the studio overlooks the secluded garden which guests are welcome to enjoy. A perfect cosy "snug" for 2 people, best suited as overflow accommodation for our other lodges/cottages, but has simple catering facilities and all the basic essentials such as fridge, freezer, microwave with grill, toaster etc for self-catering.
