HISTORY Gerald Parker Engineering Watford Ltd was established in 1981. The Company's foundations were laid by Gerald Parker and Chester Carson whose knowledge and skills in the area of Mechanical and Geological Engineering was to set the Company on a course which today has traded successfully for many years. From the outset the Company's customer base was associated with the aerospace, automotive and mining industries. Today the Company has evolved and whilst losing ties with the mining industry due to its demise over the last twenty years.

read moreParkers was founded in 1982 and today is managed under the guidance of the third generation of the Parker family working in both the Construction and Rail Industry. A continual upward trend has seen the business develop from its humble beginnings to become an established local employer, occupying large premises on the Building Research Establishment Site (BRE) in Garston, Hertfordshire, conveniently located at Junction 6 on the M1 and Juction 21 on the M25. Established on this secure site for many years Parkers sizeable workforce is made up of experienced staff complimented by a comprehensive apprenticeship scheme allowing the business to expand whilst drawing from the resources of our own internal training programme.

read moreParkers employs a team of Site Engineers, Surveyors and Draughtsmen providing technical support for our projects from the outset. Our Draughtsmen work closely with our clients providing expert advice and drawings complete for approval. Based at our factory we have a comprehensive Sheet Metal department offering Cutting, Folding, Lasercutting & Punch facilities with Mig & Tig working with Mild steel, Aluminium & Stainless Steel materials. Parkers onsite Installation Teams are issued with and are responsible for fully equipped vehicles providing onsite mobile workshop facilities.
