The Logica team spent the day with Ben completing our Cybersecurity Awareness Training. As a digital agency, the topics covered were great reminders of best practice, and we learnt a lot of new things as well! We found great value in the personal security side of things. Their training is about you as much as it is about the company you work for; I think this sets them apart from others.

I took part in some face to face Cyber Security Awareness Training delivered by Chris from Optimise Cyber Solutions.
The training was much more engaging than I'd experienced with cyber security training before, in the past I have completed E-learning style training which can be pretty boring, I'm probably not the only one who has just skipped the videos and kept clicking until I got the answer right, this style of training felt much more like a chore but with Chris' training it was much more engaging, dare I say fun! and the real life scenarios presented enabled me to be able to identify potential threats and in fact since having the training I was able to identify an attempted attack all be it to my personal email when what looked a very legit email from Google wasn't, if I hadn't taken part in the training Optimise provided, I fear I may well have fallen foul. I'd highly recommend contacting Optimise for some Cyber Security Awareness Training! Its fun, engaging and I have certainly been able to remember much more from this than I had in previous training.

I recently took a cyber security course with Optimise and Im really glad I did. The course is informative useful and surprisingly enjoyable thanks to Chris, who led the course.
Chris did an awesome job explaining things in a way that actually made sense, even the more technical bits. He clearly knows his stuff and was great at making the sessions interesting and easy to follow. There was a good mix of theory and real life examples, which helped a lot when it came to understanding how things work in practice.
We didnt just sit through slides either as i expected... we did mini quizzes throughout and worked through scenarios that felt relevant to the kind of challenges you could expect to see should the worst ever happen.
By the end of it, I felt much more confident in my understanding of cybersecurity and how to approach it. I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone either looking develop their knowledge in cyber security or even just for extra peice of mind knowing their staff have received relevant, up to date training. One thing the course explains is that staff are one of the greatest vulnerabiliteis to network security.

Chris provided us with a fantastic training program on Cyber Security awareness and it was definitely money well spent. Everything was explained to us in a manner that was understandable, despite some of the topics being of a highly technical nature. Every delegate in attendance took away useful information and we will be implementing various suggestions as a matter of urgency. What I would also add is that Chris has the most friendly and inviting personality, extremely courteous and professional and I would not hesitate in having him back to our office to advise on other aspects of Cyber Security awareness.

I attended a full day's face-to-face training in Cyber Security Essentials and Remote Working presented by Chris Annetts, MD of Optimise Cyber Solutions, at the Calderdale College in Halifax on Tuesday 11 Feb 2025.
This is a comprehensive course providing individuals, management and employees with fundamental cybersecurity knowledge, and practical guidance in and out of the work environment.
From the basics up to incident management there was a broad range of topics, and well worth the time spent on such a vital facet of senior business management.
As someone who has been involved in IT from pre-personal-computer and pre-Internet days believing they were aware of the risks involved in sustaining successful businesses it was a real eye-opener.
I would highly recommend attending this seminar especially for senior management and IT professionals to fulfil their responsibilities and implement or amend their operating procedures accordingly and manage the current risks from the cyber world. It's never too late!
