The McManus legend started some 30 years ago when Anne and Mick McManus took over The Green Man in St James, Northampton, later known as the Thomas A Becket. Its popularity grew, as McManus acquired more pubs. In 1989 their son, Gary, took over and the business continued to go from strength to strength. Since then, Gary and his brother Paul have continued to take on and evolve existing new pub concepts. In true McManus style, the staff always remember to have a little fun along the way
