read moreI cant recommend David enough - we had booked him for what was meant to be our ceremony in June - which was obviously a casualty to the COVID19 lockdown (!) - and so instead we decided to go ahead with a small registry office wedding with just our two sets of parents.

Davids style was exactly what we wanted, and the pictures were simply amazing - even though we had only 4 guests, the photos really captured the magic of the day - from small details like my bouquet and now-husbands bow tie, to fantastic pictures within the grounds of the registry office with our family, and some very point-in-time memories of guests with face masks, and taking our vows with the perspex screen between us and the registrar! The pictures were beautiful, and we cant wait for David to snap our big day in March 2021!

We weren't disappointed - David was really accommodating with us - our initial wedding date was affected by the pandemic so everything was uncertain for quite a while, but David was willing to be flexible and was optimistic for us being able to get married soon! With not much notice, David worked around us, was diligent in ensuring we all knew what was happening on the day and ultimately put our needs above his.
On the day he was great, he genuinely became a part of the day and the photos that we got in the end are ones we'll cherish. Thanks David!

We were recommended to use Davids services for his unique documentary style and instantly decided we wanted him to snap our wedding.
David was easy to talk to and very professional and helpful in the early stages of planning.
When our wedding was unfortunately postponed at the start of lockdown, David stayed in touch with us and offered us lots of support.
We were lucky enough to get a new date for our wedding at short notice and David very admirably cleared his schedule to ensure he was there to photograph our wedding.
The pictures are absolutely amazing and really captured the uniqueness of the day.
We will be using David again to capture the photographs for our wedding party once Covid is over.

The standout pictures are of all the guests reactions throughout the day. He took so many wonderful shots with a great sense of humour. read moreDavid was our first and only choice as our wedding photographer. We found him online, liked what we saw and arranged to meet up. He was very personable, open to our ideas, and clearly very experienced. He was always in regular contact in the run up to our wedding and we felt we were in safe hands.

We received our photos two weeks after our wedding and we can't overstate how happy we are with them, they look brilliant! David captured so many happy people enjoying themselves on our wedding day, everything looks so natural and that reminds us what an amazing day both we and our guests had. In other words, it's a compliment to David to say how it's almost as if nobody noticed him as he went about his work. He even drew praise from our other suppliers who commented how he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

As for the photos, we can't fault their quality. Every time I look over them I notice something new that makes me smile. We hired David for 9 hours' work and he made a point of waiting around after his "shift" was finished to thank us for having him and to say goodbye - he even continued photographing until the moment presented itself to do that. We have only good things to say about him and would recommend him to anyone.

read moreDavid is a brilliant photographer, that is clear from one look at his website, but what his website doesn't tell you is what a personal,unique experience he will offer you as your wedding photographer. I chose David because friends had used him and their photos were wonderful, journalistic and full of life, such a welcome antidote to the stuffy, formal photographs of wedding's gone by! David doesn't shepherd, shout or cajole, but he calmly rounds up friends and family for any group photos that you have specified beforehand. I chose not to have many group photos as I wanted David to capture the mood of the day and oh my did he do that! My wedding photographs are photos I will treasure for the rest of my life. They capture moments that I will cherish, the pictures of my friends and family smiling, laughing and having fun, my parents holding hands, every detail of the wedding caught by David's natural eye. So many guests commented on how hard David and his support photographer worked without ever being imposing or getting in the way. They captured everything I could have hoped for! Not many photographers will spend time getting to know you like David does, nor will they put time aside to visit the venue with you or talk about exactly how you want your photos to look. Jack and I are thrilled with our photographs, David is utterly wonderful and so very good at what he does. I cannot recommend him more highly, he captures the magic of the day and with one look at his photos, you are back there, having the best day of your life all over again.
