At MaKentish Furnitures, we work closely with every client to plan and create a kitchen that reflects their individual requirements and preferences. Our process begins with a detailed design discussion, supported by a wide range of kitchen door samples that allow you to compare styles and colours before making a decision. As a bespoke manufacturer, we are not limited to standard kitchen units; we can also produce coordinating furniture such as media walls or bookcases to complement the overall design, as shown in our gallery. We guide you through the available choices of work surfaces, including materials such as Quartz, Granite, Mirostone and Corian, and we present the many kitchen appliance options currently available. Customers may choose a supply-only service or ask us to organise professional fitting. Our showroom is located within our factory, which enables us to avoid the high expenses associated with high street premises, staffing and heating. This allows us to offer specialist, high-quality kitchen cabinets at trade-level prices, often up to thirty percent lower than typical high street kitchen retailers.

Our family-run business was established by Mike Kentish, who began his career more than forty years ago as a seventeen-year-old apprentice carpenter fitting his first kitchen. After several years working as a kitchen fitter, Mike was frequently asked to supply kitchen units as well as install them. Having worked with numerous suppliers, he found that many could not meet the exact standards or specifications he required. As a result, he initially modified existing units before eventually investing in machinery and establishing his own manufacturing process from the ground up. Today we produce our own cabinets, which means every unit can be made to the precise width, height and depth required for your space. We manufacture a selection of our own kitchen doors and also source doors from several established producers, allowing us to offer a wide variety of styles. For customers undertaking their own installations, all of our cabinets can also be supplied on a DIY basis.
