At Lynx Training Academy, we provide Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training to health and social care organisations across South Yorkshire, delivering programmes designed to strengthen professional practice while ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements. As one of the limited number of NHS-approved providers in the region, we deliver training that is co-produced alongside individuals with lived experience, ensuring every course is relevant, credible and impactful. Our approach enables organisations to book staff onto open courses from 99 per person without minimum attendance requirements, allowing providers to train small groups in a cost-effective way. We also support organisations with built-in CQC compliance guidance and offer assistance with funding options, including reimbursement of up to 90 per delegate for Tier 2 training, helping services manage budgets while fulfilling mandatory training obligations.Our mission is to support health and social care providers while creating meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities for our Experts with Lived Experience. Through our training programmes, organisations strengthen workforce confidence, meet regulatory expectations and demonstrate a genuine commitment to quality care. At the same time, we recognise lived experience as a valuable professional contribution by providing paid roles, development opportunities and long-term career pathways for our Experts. By bringing together providers, professionals and individuals with lived experience, we encourage collaboration, share knowledge and promote better practice throughout the region. This inclusive model allows us to connect services with expertise, people with opportunity and communities with stronger, more responsive support.
