LSI was began in late 1991 in collaboration with ADB Lighting Technologies (Belgium) then a Siemens firm, to evolve the UK market for ADB's Stage & Studio Lighting products. Winning our 1st significant project in early 1992, LSI offered the BBC in London with a major installation of ADB dimming. Outgrowing our earlier location, LSI in 1997 moved to our current premises in Woking, Surrey, England (30 minutes Sth West of London's Heathrow Airport) These include a huge open-plan design office, a showroom for product demonstrations, a warehouse for project consolidation.

Russell is Chairman and joint owner of LSI Projects with a career in the industry spanning five decades. It all started back in 1973 as part of the Rank Strand sales team where he was to stay till 1990, ending up as the global Sales & Marketing Director.
