read moreI had all eleven windows replaced at my Edwardian house by Lomax + Wood, Silver service, in 2015. They were an easy company to deal with and the product and installation are excellent. The high-performance traditional flush casement windows are also to a very high standard of finish which now in 2017 still look as good as new. The house stands on the corner of a village Conservation Area and it is amusing that some passers-by actually 'stroke' the painted frames convincing themselves of the natural quality. My home office overlooks the main street and the sound insulation is amazing how it cuts out the traffic noise. Full marks to Lomax + Wood.

read moreChris Wood, formerly of Mumford & Wood, acquired Lomax + Wood Limited following a buyout of his partners to become sole shareholder in October 2014. After joining the company in June 2013 the company has gone through major changes including rebranding, a new website, technical IT system, the upgrading of product designs and a broadening of the overall quality timber window and door offer. The company, under its former brand of Ambass-A-Door, was established in 1994 as a wooden sash window specialist.
