read moreRupert and I (Ruth) are a design-trained husband and wife team. We launched the Little Folk company in May 2005, after a fantastic response to my illustrated pictures, made for our family and friends. Inspired by our two children and pets, I went on to illustrate a whole family of happy little characters with big smiles and long striped legs. Little Folk started public life in a craft fair at the Leicestershire County Show in May 2005. We only made the illustrated personalised Alphabet pictures at that time and they were in great demand!
