Amazing architects!!
After years of being told "you will never get planning" or dealing with architects that didn't understand the brief of converting a large barn into a smaller dwelling, we just wish we went to Lilly Lewarne at the very beginning. Not only did they understand the brief, but they got us the planning for exactly what we wanted.
Excellent communication from the start, from Pat, Dale and James, and even though our project was not on a grand design scale, we felt like our project was always priority and we never experienced any delay from their end.
They were also very patient with us, especially when we had to make changes, and Pat always had great input on not only the design front, but on how to keep the planning officers happy, which is VERY important.
Excellent service all around and I can highly recommend.

Lilly Lewarne delivered a lovely extension and renovation for us at our 200 year-old property in St Mawes, Cornwall.
Rob Simmonds was sympathetic to our requirements from the outset and took us from concept through to delivery in a difficult rising plot, blending the old house with a new 2-storey extension in a gentle transition, through to a showpiece new Summerhouse and terrace which fit beautifully with the conservation area but adding a modern slightly New England feel.
We would highly recommend Lilly Lewarne for their personal service, patience, calmness and above all their translation into reality of our vision for the property, retaining the old cottage feel whilst adding to it the modern enhancements necessary for the 21st century.

When considering using an architect to help us design our latest house it was important to us that we not only engaged a forward thinking firm but one that really gets involved in the passion of building your own home. Lilly Lewarne not only showed their own passion but believed in ours, guiding us through the technical minefields whilst remaining committed to the brief we had set them. The result was a design that was sensitive to the surrounding woodland area and topography of the site whilst allowing us a modern feel to our home. We would not hesitate in recommending this Cornish company to any and all self build enthusiasts.
