Making Instruments
read moreOur traditional instruments are mostly based on models of the Cremonese masters such as Stradivari, Guarneri and Amati. We have a range of instruments available, but also are happy to undertake commissions for new instruments. Our three quarter and full size cornerless violins, violas and cellos are simpler to make than instruments with corners, making the cornerless instrument much more affordable than its traditional counterpart. Cornerless instruments have a wonderfully modern appearance, are lighter and still maintain the full depth and volume of sound usually associated with a hand made instrument.
