The Lait Dance Club was established in 1974 by Tom and Pat Lait. It is located in Ipswich, Suffolk and has very nice facilities which include a huge ballroom with a maple sprung floor and a licensed bar. The dance club is always active as you'll see if you visit the weekly programmes page. There are over 14 experienced team who are associated with the Lait Dance Club whose roles include teaching Ballroom, Latin, Disco/Freestyle, Rock 'n' Roll, Salsa, Hip Hop and Street Dance by classes and individual tuition for kids & adults at all levels. Beginners, social dancers, medallists & competitors.

This "one to one" method of teaching helps you to feel the rhythm and movement of the dance through dancing with a professional. A whole new way to learn to dance!. Yes, it initially felt strange and occasionally I find it difficult dancing without being in ballroom or Latin hold, but most of all it is still fun. Lessons are held in a great atmosphere with responsible, caring and professional instructors (some of the best in the country) sticking to all social distancing measures.
