Roger Finn on taking the helm when Tom Newman retired in 1994, renamed the firms Laddingford Engineering Ltd and who will always aim to Meet the Challenge. His son David, joined the firm in 1985 and completed his 5 year City & Guilds engineering apprenticeship in 1990 and who is now earning a qualification in 2D CAD (computer aided design) to keep at the forefront of engineering fabrication advancement together with the dedicated guys on the shop floor and the ever efficient office girls.
