Director Heather Parkinson has been interested in animals most of her life. Her 1st pet was a grey cat called Smokey, who unfortunately died in 2006, aged 17. During her childhood years Heather owned rabbits, hamsters and goldfish; and worked on a local smallholding, looking after rabbits, ducks and hens, and riding and looking after a horse called Misty. Heather's 1st dog was a Yorkshire Terrier, called Kingsley, who now lives with her Mum. Kingsley is 11.
