Located to the W of Edinburgh, Kingsknowe golf club is in easy reach of all Scotland via the Edinburgh City Bypass. Originally designed by Alec Herd, the 1902 Open champion, the course was later redesigned by James Braid. The parkland golf course in Edinburgh is laid out over and across the valleys of gently rolling hills on which Oliver Cromwells army gathered to bombard Redhall Castle in 1650. The hills now define the picturesque cherry tree-lined fairways from which the mindful golfer must propel his ball to the well-guarded and relatively tiny greens.

We welcome visiting parties and cater for groups of 8 upwards and we are taking group bookings for 2021. Once we have some details on dates and numbers, we will arrange your menu and catering requirements from that early morning hot filled roll to lunch or High Tea. Our Professional will book your tee times and make sure that you are ready to go on the day.
