About Us
read moreSince joining as Headteacher in the summer I have enjoyed getting to know Kingsbury High School and meeting staff, students, parents and governors. It is a school with many strengths and a long history of success. There is a keen understanding of the importance of values and a sense of tradition, encapsulated by the School motto, spectemur agendo. It dates back to the founding of our predecessor school, the Kingsbury County, in the 1920s and it is Latin for, "let us be judged by our actions". As Headteacher I will seek to lead the school with this at the heart.

read moreI have attended Kingsbury High School since day one of Year 7 and, since then, I have been thankful that I made this choice. Kingsbury High School puts a strong emphasis not only on academic excellence and striving for excellent grades but also on making its students healthy, confident and well-rounded individuals with great career prospects ahead of them. Since Year 7, I have attended various clubs and activities that the school has provided including being a member of the school's football team, taking part in debating and being a member of the school's Model United Nations team.

Predicted GCSE grades will be used in reaching a decision about whether or not to make you a provisional offer of the course/subjects you have chosen. Your predicted grades are guided by your December mock examinations. Each Year 11 student will have a follow-up one-to-one meeting in the Spring term to discuss your application form and choices.

Kingsbury High School
read moreThe school hosts annual 'Aim Higher Alumni' days, where alumni are invited back to mentor, guide and, most importantly, inspire our current students. They lead discussions on university life, gap years and apprenticeships. Some, who have gone on to become successful recording artists, even perform live. We are highly active across social media. Former staff and students are encouraged to engage with each other and the school via our Alumni & Old Scholars facebook page, where we also publicise our alumni's achievements and share memories of our school.

read moreParents/carers receive academic feedback approximately every six weeks throughout the Autumn and Spring terms. Parents/carers will be invited to take part in a survey to offer feedback as part of routine parent review across the School. We are also keen to seek any feedback on an ad hoc basis - feel free to email us at school@kingsburyhigh.org.uk and ensure the subject line refers to the Sixth Form. Download our guides, in the Featured Content section on the right of this page, on how parents/carers can support their son/daughter while in the Sixth Form.

Kingsbury High School
read moreWe place a strong emphasis on our "PRIDE" values: Personal Excellence, Respect and Friendship, Inspiration, Determination and Courage, and Equality. These were originally the Olympic and Paralympic values and, through them, we aim to combine both academic success and the development of the broader aspects of each student's character. We believe that there are many ways to be successful at Kingsbury High: our students are able to excel academically, in performance and in sport, as leaders and enthusiastic participants.
