Hamilton Shipping began off life in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1919 as Alex M Hamilton + Co, named after the Great Uncle of current Group Managing Director, Gordon Hamilton. Gordon took over the running of the business from his Father, Jimmy, in 1990. Life in the 3rd generation has led to a significant period of growth and development. From its origins in Belfast, Hamilton Shipping now operates from 6 sites in Londonderry, Belfast, Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
