Welcome, and thank you for visiting. My name is Daro, and I am the founder of Kalandraka Music Academy. After years of dedication to music, I made the decision to establish this platform in order to offer structured, professional music lessons. My musical path began at the age of twelve with classical guitar, which I studied formally for four years. As my interests expanded, I explored additional genres including rock, blues, and metal, having already added electric guitar to my repertoire, and later bass guitar as well. At eighteen, I developed a strong interest in electronic music, immersing myself in DJing through Traktor and music production using Cakewalk and Cubase. I performed my first DJ set at twenty and have continued performing in clubs ever since. By the age of twenty-nine, I transitioned into teaching, and after relocating in 2012 to , I continued offering professional music instruction.Today, I conduct lessons from my private studio located within the esteemed at 25 Palmerston Place. In addition to teaching, I provide recording, production, mixing, and mastering services for clients seeking high-quality audio work. I also compose original music and create remixes in collaboration with other producers. Maintaining a commitment to excellence, I consistently refine my expertise to remain current with emerging techniques, software advancements, and evolving industry standards.

My 8y old son started attending Dario's guitar lessons in September and he loves going there and learn the tricks of this instrument.
Dario is always accurate, helpful, friendly and gives him some homework which I, as a parent, appreciate much.

Cannot recommend Dario @ KM Music enough
Absolutely loved the beginner DJ course, Ive been into club music for years but had zero experience behind the decks. Dario made it easy, took things at my pace, we focused on the music I listen to. Felt more like learning at a mates house but in a great wee studio Very relaxed and flexible with diary
Broad learning, not just mixing but music theory, equipment, sourcing music etc
Sad my course is over, but Ill definitely be back for more upskilling as my journey progresses

Dario has been teaching guitar to my daughter for a few months now, and she really loves the lessons. Dario teaches the right amount of practical music and theory, so my daughter feels she's really learning also the basis of what she plays. Definitely recommended!
