Set up in 1978, the Janet Lomas School of Dancing has trained many pupils from Beginners through to Professional levels in a cheerful, friendly and stimulating environment. All pupils are encouraged to reach their individual finest in the understanding, appreciation and performance in the art of Classical Ballet and Tap. The R. A. D. Royal Academy of Dance) and N. A. T. D. National Association of Teacher of Dancing) have a carefully graded syllabi according to safe teaching principles.

Online Dance Classes
read moreDuring the ongoing pandemic, we are running online dance classes. Since lockdown, we have been offering live dance classes for both our children's department and Silver Swans. It has been wonderful for everyone to be able to interact with each other once again, and to have the ability to hold classes with real-time corrections and feedback. This means that students don't have to compromise on their learning and progression during this time. When we started online dance classes, we were uncertain whether they would work, but we are pleased to see that our students have continued to progress.
