John has a passion for capturing the dramatic and timeless beauty of the Yorkshire dales. His Yorkshire landscape paintings are made in oils or watercolour and eloquently convey the mood, drama or tranquillity of the varied Yorkshire landscape. Brother Kevin has a passion for the Yorkshire landscape and produces exquisite landscape paintings which are firmly rooted in a traditional approach and again make use of both water colour and oils. Kevin has a passion for wildlife painting and animal and pet portraits.

About Us
read moreJohn and Kevin Wood are two brothers from Barnsley South Yorkshire. Growing up their two main passions were art and football. Their mother provided them with a constant supply of art materials, encouraging their inclination to paint and draw. Kevin subsequently studied art formally at Grammar school and college. John studied sciences and so is largely a self taught artist. Both are keen birdwatchers with a love of the Yorkshire Dales. The family ran a busy local public house, which gave them a chance to first display and sell their artwork.
