Ilikemusic was established in 2000 and launched in 2001 as an independent voice in an industry saturated by big corporations. The site was launched by a tiny staff of young people who like music, for others who like music. It's been tough and demanding, but now, in its ninth successful year online, ilikemusic includes a large array of artist interviews, from The Pussycat Dolls, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado, Grandmaster Flash and The Stone Roses to Noah and The Whale, Hybrid, Editors, Pendulum, Deadmau5, DJ Format, DJ Yoda and Beardyman, plus a broad collection of cross genre music content covering Pop, Hiphop, Rock, Dance, Indie and Urban.
